Why does a city have a Peace and Justice Commission? And why is it making it difficult for the city library to get its scanner fixed? I know, you can’t make this shit up.

Yay libraries! Yay technology! Yay world peace!
BOO to companies that use nuclear technology! BOO to countries that successfully used nuclear weapons as a deterrent to oppression. BOO to emission-free cleaner nuclear energy!
I guess if you get cancer in Berkley, it’s chemo for you! (unless the company that provides the chemotherapy drugs also sells equipment for radiation treatments, in which case BOOO!)
